It’s hard to believe my Sims 2 site is three years old today (Novemeber 14, 2007)! Well, my sims had an anniversary party and I’m giving the banner mesh away at my Free site. I also made a mesh for some cheap shelving … you can place more than one of them together to make longer shelves, and also place them in corners to wrap around. They are decorative only, not functional (the expansion packs make bookshelves so different in different versions that I can’t be bothered to make them anymore. Sorry.)

I’m sorry but now, not only am I taking care of my elderly mom who had a stroke, but I’m also taking care of my younger sister who has a head injury and possible brain damage from a fall … so, needless to say, I’m not creating much lately. So, I’m moving some stuff over from TSR so it’s available here too. I put some in the free section and some in the Preferred Members section.

I had a couple requests from other sites to use the Suit of Armor I made for the Preferred Members section, so I put it in the Free section, so anyone who wants it can have it.

Well, I realized today that even though it’s been over 9 months since I quit smoking, I STILL can’t do anything creative at the computer without wanting a cigarette!! I made some recolors of Grizzelda and NeptuneSuzy meshes and I bet I reached for a butt at least 10 damn times!!

I’m so sorry … my life has been out of my control lately, so I haven’t updated this blog in a while … here’s some stuff I added to my site in the past month …

I’m home from vacation and it was WONDERFUL. So, my site is back up and running at full capacity again. I added some leotards to the Free section and some neon wall art to the Preferred Members section:

I know I know …. I’m supposed to be giving you notice when I add something to my site, but I’m just so damn busy taking care of my mom. I’m sorry!

Anyway, the latest stuff I’ve added to my site includes a bowling alley and some fire alarms in the free section and some out-of-this-world moon decor, including craters and starry bushes, in the Preferred Members section.

Sorry … my life is being taken up with other stuff lately and I’ve been posting in my caregivers blog instead of here. But, I have been adding stuff to my site. In the Free section, I put my Unsaggy Gram mesh that was so popular at TSR, along with some recolors. I also put my House Number mesh in the Free section, and put some recolors in the Preferred Members section. And, lastly, I just grouped my Valentine’s Day clothes into one set and put that in the Preferred Members section on the Clothing page.

My latest additions to my site include some fruit and vegetable baskets in the Free section and a University sorority house in the Lots section in the Preferred Members section …. and three sets of matching walls, floors, and counters, on page 4 of the Preferred Members’ Sets section.

Sorry. My mom’s had a few doctor’s visits lately, so I’ve been tied up with that and forgot to post here. There’s a few new things at my site. Preferred Members have wet suits and a black cash register. And, in the Free section, there’s a new Winter Home lot and some garage door recolors.

Three new meshes in the Free section … space age TV, space age boom box, and space age wall lamp.

This zipped file includes two buffet meshes, each including 6 recolors, so it’s 12 buffets in all. Lots of alternatives for holiday parties! Fun alternative food choices in the pie menus. They’re in the Free section.

Since I have sims who live all over the world and I know lots of people who play The Sims also live all over the world, I made this new desktop wallpaper for those of you who are having summer right now. It’s in the Free section.

I made a new mesh - candy canes that light up. Use them for indoor or outdoor decorations, in residential and community lots. They’re on page 6 of the Modified Meshes section in the Preferred Members section.

Here’s some more stuff I’ve added to the site. The plaid bedroom set is in the Free section and the holiday illuminated paintings are in the Complete Sets section, on page 4, in the Preferred Members section.

Grizzelda made a new dress mesh, so I recolored it for the holidays. The mesh is included in the download file and it’s in the Free section.

Well, I don’t know if your house looks like mine right now, but during this time of year, my dining room table is always piled up with wrapping paper, boxes, tape, scissors, etc … so, I created a new mesh for my game that includes all this. I made it big, so it’s best if you put it on one of my large, multi-sectional tables so it looks more realistic and doesn’t fall off the edge of the small Maxis’ tables … or, it also sits on the floor, so you can put it in front of a TV if that’s where your sims prefer to wrap gifts

It’s on page 6 of the Modified Meshes section in the Preferred Members section. I included two recolors, so along with the Christmas wrappings, there’s also birthday and baby shower varieties.

I added these decorative gift boxes. The mesh and recolors are in the Free section, and the Christmas recolors are on page 7 of the Miscellaneous Objects section.

This may be the last thing I upload until after Thanksgiving …. I’m taking my mom to my sister’s for a few days. If I don’t post again til I get back, I just wanted to wish everyone a happy holiday and I’ll see you soon.

Well, how time flies …. my Sims 2 site is two years old now …. it’s so hard to believe I’ve been doing this for two years!

Anyway, with the upcoming holiday season, I decided to give my holiday dinner meshes away for free as an anniversary gift to you.

I’m so sorry, but I’ve been incredibly busy taking care of my mom. So, here’s some pictures of the stuff I’ve added to my site since I last posted here. I’ll try to be better at keeping this blog uptodate!

I installed the Pets expansion pack today and have been having fun playing with it. I noticed that some web sites are offering new pet breeds for download … most of them are pretty realistic looking, so, of course, you just know I had to chime in with one of my wacky creations. LOL

Here’s the new breed, the Alaskan Dalpoochow! He’s available for download in the Free section. I also added a large set of cutting boards and matching kitchen counters to page 4 of the Preferred Members’ Sets section.

I made some recolors of the new mesh Grizzelda made for the tutorial she donated to my site. They’re in the Free section.

I made some recolors of my hibachi mesh and they are in the Preferred Members section, in the Appliances section. And, Grizzelda wrote a cool new tutorial for us, all about making clothing meshes with transparent alpha parts and she also included the mesh she made using the tutorial and a recolor … all of that is in the Free section.

I moved my Hammocks set over from TSR and I made some recolors of my animated smoking ashtray (to celebrate that it’s been 8 weeks since I’ve had a cigarette LOL). The ashtrays are in the Preferred Members Miscellaneous section and the Hammocks are on page 6 of the Preferred Members Seating section.

I’ve been pretty busy taking care of mom and coordinating all of her needs with the doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, etc., so I haven’t had as much time as usual to put new stuff at my site. But I did manage to put a few new things there this week: in the Free section, I added a Blacksmith Shop and some new racing swim suits for men. In the Preferred Members section, I added some party lights and farm signs.

Just a note for anyone who checks here to see if I’ve made any new Sims 2 creations lately —

My mom had a stroke yesterday, so that’s where my energies are focused at this time. I’m not sure when I’ll be adding anything new to the site. Hopefully soon, but I can’t make any promises at this time.

I needed some different colored wrought iron fencing and gates, so I made these four. They’re in the Preferred Members section in the Build Mode section, on the new "Fences/Gates" page.

Dr Pixed put another car at his website (Blarney Stone) and I just had to recolor it. It’s a ‘57 Viking convertible and his mesh (which is included) is red and white, but of course my recolors are a bit tackier LOL.

I made this new community lot - it’s a campground and includes a bunch of meshes and recolors. It’s in the Preferred Members section, in the Lots section. It requires NO expansion packs.

I added a new lot to the Free section. It requires no expansion pack and it includes some new wall and floor textures I made. It’s unfurnished, but I included toilets and tubs to show where the bathrooms are. I like it cuz it’s got large open spaces and you can do lots of different things with it.

I added three recolors of my glass-top "any size" table to the Preferred Members section, on page 1 of the Surfaces section.

This is the glass top version of my any-size table from TSR. It comes with a side piece and a center piece so you can make it as big as you want. It’s in the Free section.

I added these lamps from my old TSR collection. They’re in the Free section.

Sorry I’m not making that much lately, but I just got home from vacation and I’m busy getting back into the swing of things at work. Also, I quit smoking (I’ve been a smoker for 45 years!) and this is SOOO hard … the nicotine withdrawal is killing me … I’m tired and cranky all the time, and it’s hard for me to get motivated to do anything.

But, I moved this black and white office over from TSR. It’s in the Preferred Members section, on page 4 of the Complete Sets section.

I added these to the Preferred Members section today. They’re on page 5 of the Adult Female Clothing section. Available in four colors.

I made some more floor and wall tiles. They’re in the Preferred Members Build section, on page 4 in Walls and page 5 in Floors.

Gingham dresses with aprons, for all ages. The mesh for the female elder is included. They’re in the Free section.

I uploaded another mesh from my TSR creations. This is my scarecrow … he’s in the Preferred Members section on page 6 of the Modified Meshes section.

I’m still on vacation and having fun

But, here’s some buffets I made for TSR a long time ago and now I can put them here. They’re in the Free section.

I’m still on vacation, so I don’t have too much time for creating, but I did add these daisy rugs to the Free section, and these colorful toilet stalls to page 2 of the Preferred Members Plumbing section.

I’m heading off to northern Canada on a vacation, but I’ll still be adding new stuff to my site, but maybe not as much as usual. I’ll be gone for two weeks, but I will have my laptop with me, so I’ll be sure to put at least a few new goodies on my site.

Here’s some wooden surfaces - counter, countertop, and desk. They’re in the Free section.

This is another set from my TSR days that is now over a year old, so I can put it here. It’s in the Free section. No meshes required.

I made these gingham recolors of my Basic Comfort Sofa. You can mix and match the cushions and frames. They’re in the Preferred Members section, on page 6 of the Seating section.

I added three new fences in the Free section:

I was creating this old crone in my game and she has leprosy (I know, I’m a sicko) … anyway, I had to make this special skin for her. I know it’s not something that a lot of other people would want, but I decided to put it in my Free section for anyone that does. It can be measles, chicken pox, or leprosy.

Then, I made something more realistic that maybe some of you can use. It’s just makeup, so Sims aren’t stuck with it for life … it’s freckles on their faces. This is in the Preferred Members section on the Makeup page.

I made this new mesh. It’s a pile of sand (or dirt or grass or stone or mud) with a few palm tree colors included. Sims can sit, relax, nap, or jump under the palm tree. It’s in the Preferred Members section on page 6 of the Modified Meshes section.

The perfect addition to any tropical lot.

I’ve been playing a neighborhood I’ve created for a story that I’m sharing with NeptuneSuzy and Grizzelda (I’d share it with you, but it’s a tad raunchy LOL). Anyway, I made a clothing store that only sells clothes made by the three of us, so I made this sign to go with it. It’s in the Preferred Members section on the Doors/Windows page in the Build Mode section.

I made some wall and floor tile for a beach home I’m designing. They’re in the Preferred Members section in Build Mode > Walls and >Floors. Then, I also made some satin boxers for all male ages, in 2 colors. They’re in the Free section and are available in the game in both the Underwear and PJs categories.

I recolored my pool accessories and made this blue/gold set. I think it looks really good in the game … gives a whole new look to the pool. It’s in the Preferred Members section on page 4 of the Complete Sets section. The meshes needed for this set are in the Modified Meshes section.

I’ve also moved my Fencepost Candlelights here, from TSR, since they are now a year old. They’re in the Free section.

I recolored Suzy’s hair mesh that’s at my site. I call this one "stressed" LOL. It’s in the Preferred Members section.

Then, I also made some recolors of Grizzelda’s "Real Woman" mesh that’s at my site too. These are in the Free section.

Sorry, but I realized that my pool planter didn’t work in Nightlife and OFB becuz Maxis added the diagonal pools in Nightlife, so that changed the way stuff clings to the pool walls. So, I made another version for those of you who have Nightlife and/or OFB. If you download the new one, it will replace the old one becuz it has the same GUID and name.

And, I decided to make some recolors of all my special pool stuff, in marble. They are in the Swimming Pool section, in the Preferred Members Build Mode section.

This is pretty cool. I’m always trying to come up with ways to dress up the boring swimming pools in the game. So, I made these stairs that work like a ladder …. and then I made this planter that clings to the inside wall of the pool. In the game, you will find them in Build Mode with the rest of your pool stuff.

They’re in the Preferred Members section on page 6 of the Modified Meshes section.

I made some more canopies. These things are so versatile … I keep finding new ways to use them. They’re in the Preferred Members section on page 3 of the Lighting section. I also made a new lot and it includes a lot of flagstone stuff … canopies, columns, walls, floors, doors, windows, and even flagstone pools. It doesn’t require any expansion packs and it’s in the Free section.

I made a lot called The Ritz and used the party tents as awnings and it got me to thinking of all the different ways I can use this party tent. So, I made a wooden one and tried it in all kinds of different places. It works as a deck or patio roof; it can be placed by a mountain so part of it is inside the mountain; it can be used as a roof over a driveway to make a carport; it can even be placed over walls and used as a roof. I put The Ritz in the Free section and the wooden canopy is in the Preferred Members section on page 6 of the lighting section (yes, it’s a light).

I am REALLY happy with this mesh! It’s a party tent that sims can walk under; you can place furniture under them; you can place them on slopes; you can even place them on driveways! I didn’t even think to try it yet, but I’m sure you can put walls around them too, to enclose them. They require no cheats and they work in all versions of the game. And, you can overlap them to make tents as big as you want. They’re in the Preferred Members section on page 6 of the Modified Meshes section.

I made this new mesh for a window that includes a sign. It doesn’t work in the base game, but it does work with Nightlife or OFB. I don’t have a machine that only has University, so I have no clue if it will work there (though I think I remember that Nightlife was the EP that finally let us make new windows without a whole lot of futzing.) I was going to make a version for diagonal walls until I saw how this one looks … and I like it! LOL

It’s in the Preferred Members section, in the Build Mode section, on the Doors/Windows page. The mesh includes four frame colors, and the Condemned Window Sign recolor and the Sale/Come Back Soon sign also include recolors for all four frame colors.

It works in residential, downtown, and community lots.

I made these denim sets for both the adult male and the adult female. I’ll be adding them to the Free section sometime tonite.

I seem to use the wire rim glasses a lot, so I decided I wanted them in more colors. Unfortunately, becuz of a Maxis’ limitation, no matter what color you make them, they always show up as black on adult and elder males (grrrrr) … but they look good on everybody else.

They’re in the Preferred Members section on the Glasses page in the Hair and Makeup section.

I’ve moved my large artificial flowers from TSR to my site, since they are now over a year old and that’s my agreement with TSR. They’re in the Free section. Then I made a modern black and white living room, using these flower vases and some other meshes of mine. That’s on page 4 of the Preferred Members Sets section. The individual meshes and recolors are also available separately in the other sections.

I made a laptop. I know lots of people have made them, but computers made with University or Open for Business installed do not work if you don’t have those expansion packs, so I made these. They will work in all games, with or without expansion packs, but they do not include the special pie menu options for "College" and "Business" because I made them on a machine without those EPs installed. The mesh is in the Free section and there are six recolors in the Preferred Members section on page 2 of the Electronics section.

Suzy made some cool glowing doorbells. They don’t go "ding dong", but they are based on a wall light, so they add some light outside and look great on either side of the door. They’re in the Free section, on the NeptuneSuzyGifts page.

This mesh was one I made for TSR a long time ago … it’s now been there over a year, so, according to my agreement with TSR, I can put it on my site now. It’s in the Preferred Members section. The mesh is on page 5 of the Modified Meshes section and the recolors are on page 2 of the Miscellaneous section. In the game, you will find it in Decorative > Miscellaneous.

I made two matching recliners – they’re just recolors of Maxis’ WayBack and Puffy Recliners. They’re in the Preferred Members section on page 6 of the Seating section.

I made some more recolors of Dr. Pixel’s earrings and necklace set. There are four of them. They’re in the Free section.

I just added this to the Free section:

I made a set of matching workout outfits for elders, adults, and teens, both sexes. They’re in the Preferred Members section, on the individual age/sex pages. There’s also a link on each page to download the whole set, if you’d rather not download them separately.

I made a new mesh - it’s a table lamp that includes a book and remote control. I hate it that the lamps take up the whole table, so I added some extras. The mesh is in the Free section and the recolors are in the Preferred Members section, on page 3 of the Lighting section. There are two book recolors and four lamp recolors - you can mix and match.

I was feeling uninspired today – the damn humidity here is just killing me!

But, as usual, I went to ts2creations.com and immediately got inspired by some of Grizzelda’s meshes. So, I recolored some kids’ outfits and some for adult females too. They’re all in my Free section (including Grizz’s meshes).

Then, I need some bright, light colored kitchen stuff for some houses I’ve been playing lately, so I made two breakfast nook sets and put them in the Preferred Members section, on page 4 of the Sets section.

I’ve been working on this dog mesh for EONS, but it never looked right. Finally, I just loaded a picture of a doberman in Milkshape and spent HOURS moving vertices around until it they fit the picture. But, the effort was worth it … I think it came out pretty good. I put it in the Preferred Members section, on page 5 of the Modified Meshes section. The dobie comes in black and tan, and in red. In your game, he’ll show up in Decorative > Sculptures.

Also, I believe I was the first one to ever make facial beauty marks for the Sims 2 … waaaaaay back when the Sims 2 first came out. I’ve had a few of them in the Preferred Members section, but I decided to make some more, with different lipstick colors. I put all of them, with and without lipstick, in one zip file and put it in the Free section.

Sorry. I forgot to post here yesterday. So, tonite I’m showing you what I’ve added over the past two days.

In the Free section I put six recolors of the University mini fridge - these are my hippie versions.

Then, I put a Hippie House in the Preferred Members section (in the Lots section, obviously). I really like how this one came out. I used moveobjects_on to fit the Maxis’ peace symbol windows into the tall white fencing …. I think it looks pretty cool (but then, I’m just an old hippie anyway. LOL)

And, since I haven’t put many clothes in the Preferred Members section lately, I made three dresses that use the bump maps, so they have intense textures. They look better in the game than they do in this picture.

I was working on a new lot and I just got plain ol’ tired of having no 2-story windows that match my other windows (especially the 4-tile atrium window). I love using these windows but the color limitation was pissing me off. So, I went out on the net searching cuz I was SURE someone had already done this … but after searching for about a half hour, I figured it was easier to just make them myself, so I did.

They’re in the Preferred Members section, in Build Mode > Doors/ Windows.

I finally got around to recoloring Grizzelda’s Plump & Sassy mesh (which I just love). I wanted some hippie clothes to match the Hippie Hair I made a few days ago. So, I recolored Grizz’s mesh and I also recolored one of Maxis’. They are similar, but different LOL

The picture shows the two outfits both in the fat and thin versions. Variety is the spice of life

The sad part is I actually remember dressing like this. Love beads and sashes around your thigh were quite fashionable in my day!

These mailboxes are ones I had a TSR well over a year ago, so I’ve moved them here now. They’re in the Free section.

I was playing around with the moveobjects_on cheat and windows and I came up with this house. The bridge and the water sculpture are made with windows …. and the windows on the first floor extend up around the upstairs porch. Looks pretty cool in the game, I think. It’s in the Free section.

I also recolored the toddler items (crib, changing table, highchair, and potty) to match the Baby Bear Bedroom set so you can use it for kids or babies. The set is on page 4 of the Preferred Members Sets section and the items are also available individually in the Miscellaneous section, page 5.

I keep making meshes of that smoke alarm cuz the one in the game is soooo ugly. Since I have to include smoke detectors in every one of my houses cuz my sims are always starting fires, I figure they can at least look like works of art LOL

I finally made some desktop wallpaper for the naked babies, so that’s in the Free section now. I also made an old brick kitchen and that’s in the Preferred Members section on page 4 of the Complete Sets section. All the objects are also available individually on the separate pages too. And, sometime tomorrow, I promise I’ll put a few of those objects in the Free section, but right now I need sleep!!

NeptuneSuzy made this beautiful Medieval Hair mesh and I just HAD to recolor it …. but my version isn’t nearly as classy …. mine is the hippie version LOL

It’s in the Free section on the new Genetics page I just added today.

I made this bedroom set for one of my little girls in the game and then the Social Worker came and took her away cuz she didn’t do her homework. Geeeez oh man LOL

All of it is in the Preferred Members section, but I put the rug, wall hanging, and teddy bear in the Free section too.

I hardly ever do hair cuz there are so many good hair meshers out there, and it’s SO much work! But, I also really prefer short hair on my sims, so I decided to make this recolor. It’s in the Preferred Members section in the Hair & Makeup section.

I also recolored Grizzelda’s new teenage pjs mesh. I went way tacky this time – maybe even too tacky for my own tastes LOL - nahhhhhhh - I love tacky sims! Anyway, these recolors and Grizz’s mesh are in the Free section on the Female Teen page.

Ever have one of those embarassing moments when you brought a guy or gal home and your mom showed them your naked baby pictures?

Well, here’s some so your Sim moms can properly embarass her teens too LOL

They’re in the Preferred Members section - two in Decorative > Wall Hangings, page 3 and one is Illuminated so it’s in the Lighting section, page 3.

I made a wall lamp to match the bearskin rug/seat. It’s in the Free section.

I made this bearskin rug from an easy chair, so Sims can walk on it and sit on his head. LOL

He’s in the Preferred Members section, on page 5 of the Modified Meshes section.

I added my cookie jar mesh and recolors to the Free Sets section. Decorative only.

I did some recolors of an old mesh of mine that’s been in the Preferred Members section for eons. It’s a simple comfy chair with tube pillows. I included the mesh in the set that’s in the Free section. Then, of course, I had to make a stone recolor of it for the Preferred Members LOL . It looks good in my caves. That’s on page 3 of the Seating section in the Preferred Members section.

What can I tell ya? I’m weird. But, I find the clothes most people make for teen boys to be soooo boring. Rock band t-shirts and jeans …. bah! … how many varieties on that theme do we have to see?

So, here’s something unique LOL

I have been trying FOREVER to make naked babies so my little sims can be cool this summer. But, every time I tried to make the mesh, I ended up with a toddler head floating in the air with no body! While that might be fun for someone ghoulish, it was NOT what I wanted. So, I went to Grizzelda and asked for help. She whipped these up in no time at all! They’re Free for you to download from Grizzelda’s Gifts page in my Free section.

They are NOT anatomically detailed … and that is intentional.

I made a brick oven and put it in the Preferred Members section (Modified Meshes, page 5) since most of the recolors I will eventually be doing will be recolors of meshes in that section. Also, Grizzelda, NeptuneSuzy, and I all made some sexy "uplifted" gramma meshes, so I recolored them all and made a set … they are in the Free section.

These are made using Echo’s 3x4 and Windkeeper’s 2x3 rugs. So, they are centered within the tiled area. The 3x4 version works well in a 3-tile-wide hallway and the 2x3 is for 2-tile-wide hallways. They match the antique rug collection already in the Preferred Members section, so I added these to the Preferred Members section also, on page 2 of Decorative>Rugs>3x4.

These are fun to use for house decoration. You can pivot them so they fit together differently. You’ll find them in Build Mode with your other flowers, and yes, they do require watering and they do attract butterflies.

The mesh is in the Free section and the recolors of both the flowers and the frames are in the Preferred Members section in Build Mode>Miscellaneous.

I liked the curtains I made for my two new bathrooms, so I made them in a bunch of colors. They’re in the Free section. Also, I’m working on some city lots, so I made some manhole covers. They’re in the Preferred Members section in Decorative>Rugs>3x4 (and 2x3).

Here’s the set to match the woman’s mirror. It’s in the Preferred Members Sets section, and the individual items are available separately in the other sections too.

I decided I need to make some bathrooms to match my bathroom mirrors. So, here’s the man’s bathroom. It’s in the Preferred Meshes section in Objects>Complete Sets. It includes the plumbing items, the mirror and mesh, the curtains, the rugs, the walls and floor. All items are also available individually.

I made this bathroom mirror mesh, then when I was recoloring it, I decided to make the objects on the shelf pertain to different "themes". The one for men has a bottle of steroids on it and the one for women is the PMS model and has a bottle of Midol. I also made one to match the Flower Power set and it includes a bottle of allergy meds. The mesh is in the Free section and the recolors are in the Preferred Members section in Decorative>Mirrors.

These flowers in a tire are from TSR (my one-year obligation to them on this one has finally expired). I use these in all my trashy sim lots LOL

I also made a new mesh. A fire exit sign that works like a smoke alarm. It’s available in both residential and community lots, though it doesn’t really work in community lots cuz there’s no fires. But it does look good on the wall by an exit, with the red ball flashing on top.

I added some of the new walls and floors I’ve made to the Preferred Members Build Mode section. I also made a temple for Sims to worship in. It doesn’t require any EPs and it’s in the Free section.

Hope this one doesn’t give anyone bad luck! It’s a cracked mirror … it’s also very cheap, and it’s crooked when you hang it on the wall. The mesh is in the Free section and the mesh and recolors are in the Preferred Members section (Decorative>Mirrors).

I keep thinking it’s time for me to stop making cave stuff, but then I play my game and I keep going back in that cave and realizing I need other items. But, I *think* this is it for a while. I’m getting caved out LOL

The clothes for the rest of the cave family are in the Free section and the icebox, grill, and campfire are in the Preferred Members section.

More ground covers (I’ve been working on a few new houses so I needed these) - they’re in the Free section. I think they look really good in the game. I also made some cave walls and floors that include fossils and heiroglyphics - they’re in the Preferred Members section in Build Mode> Walls and Build Mode> Floors.

I’m working on a new lot and made some new ground covers. Five of them … grass and snow. They’re in the Free section.

I also made some paintings to hang on cave walls. They’re in the Preferred Members section, in the Decorative > Wall Hangings section.

Looks like I’ve still got rocks in my head. LOL

I finally got around to making the toilets and sinks that match all the flower power showers I made for Preferred Members. They’re in the Preferred Members Plumbing section.

I also made some clothes for the cave people I’ve been using in my caves in my game. They’re in the Free section.

I made a cave so I could use all the rock recolored stuff I’ve been making lately. I put the unfurnished cave in the Free Section and the furnished one in the Preferred Members section. Neither of them require any expansion packs.

OK…. here’s the sink to match the shower and toilet. It’s in the Free section. These look great in bathrooms in OFB Florists. They also work well in my Wildflowers Lot, which is also available in the Free section.

I made a toilet to match my Flower Power Shower. It’s in the Free section. Then, I also recolored the shower and put them in the Preferred Members section in the Plumbing section. Recolors of the new toilet that match the showers will be coming soon … I promise!

I’ve been obsessed with "rocks" lately. My latest is a recolor of my Sleepin on a Sand Dune mesh. That’s in the Preferred Members section in the Beds section.

Since I have so much dark rock stuff on my home page, I decided I needed something light and colorful, so I made these Flower Power Showers for the Free section. I’m working on recolors of them now, for Preferred Members.

I added a few new things to my site:

In the Free section, I added a new lot ("The View" …. there are cool views out of every window in the house). I also added four recolors of my Illuminated Painting, and some recolors of my Back To Basics End Table (along with the mesh). Then, in the Preferred Members section, I added eight recolors of my Illuminated Painting mesh (in the Lighting Section), plus I redid my old rock stuff from TSR. Now that I’m better at texture mapping, these look much more authentic. I put them all together in a lot, for those who would prefer to have them already installed (since some of the stuff requires moveobjects on – like putting my rock pool ladders on diagonal pool walls and in pool corners). I also put the files in a separate zip file, for those who want the files, but not the lot. The lot has plenty of space to put a house in front of the pond…but the lot requires Nightlife (I had to use Nightlife becuz I wanted the diagonal pool walls).

I made a new mesh. It’s a painting that has a wall light shining on it. You’ll find it in the Wall Lights section in your game. I put the mesh in the Free section, and the recolors in the Preferred Members section in the Lighting section. It works well as a painting in a room, but also recolors well as a lit-up sign on a business.

You know me … my main goal when creating is to make stuff that makes me laugh. And these paintingso of "ugly relatives" sure do make me laugh! They’re in the Preferred Members section, in the Decorative>Wall Hangings section.

I’m in a hurry here, cuz I have to take my mom to the cardiologist today. Keep your fingers crossed that everything is ok with her!

But, I added some new ground covers to the Preferred Members section … and my ballsy beds from TSR are finally a year old, so I am able to put them here now. They’re in the free section (mesh, 4 frame recolors, and 7 bedding recolors, which work with all beds).

Here’s some recolors of my Basic Comfort Sofa mesh. Rust plaid and blue plaid … with separate sofa frames - one is rich mahogany and the other is off-white parchment. They’re in the Preferred Members section, on page 6 of the Seating section.

Added these blue silk suits, for adult and elder males, to the Free section.

I was working on a new lot that needed some realistic rock ground covers, so I made a bunch. The lot is in the Lots section of my Preferred Members section and the ground covers are in the Ground Covers section (also in the Preferred Members section).

Made a few recolors ….

An invisible shower (I made this a while ago, but somehow I lost it. So I made it again). Just use the moveobjects_on cheat to place it without a wall. It looks really cool near some rocks with some good water terrain paint. It’s in the Preferred Members section on page 1 of the Plumbing section.

I also recolored my laundry basket mesh, since it seems to be one of my most popular downloads. And since the mesh has always been free, I put the recolors in the Free section too.

I had a moment of disgust when I had been making stuff at my computer for a loooong time and I glanced at the ashtray beside my monitor….oh ick!! …. but then I thought "why not share it with other smoking addicts?" LOL
It’s in the Preferred Members section on page 7 in the Miscellaneous section.

And, lastly, I made a new lot that doesn’t require any expansion packs. It’s another house on stilts. All rooms are on one floor (my preference cuz I can’t keep my eye on all my sims when they are running around on different floors LOL).

I know everyone makes sexy bathing suits, but I wanted some functional racing suits for my power swimming sims. So, here they are. They are in the Preferred Members section. The adult female one is on page 5 of the Adult Female Clothing section and the male one is on page 2 of the Adult Male Clothing section.

For some weird reason, my campfires were turning pukey green after an expansion pack was installed. And, I finally figured out why and fixed them …. so you can redownload the mesh if yours turned that ugly green color. I put it in the Free section so people who had the original from TSR could have this fixed one without paying. The picture shows how it looks with my Invisible Bubble Blower and the moveobjects_on cheat. The bubble blower needed to do this is in the Preferred Members section in the Miscellaneous section.

I finally figured out a way to change that bubble blower into something that kinda resembles a smokin’ hooka. It requires the moveobjects_on cheat so I put it on a lot, in case some people don’t know how to use cheats. It includes my Peace Statue and Invisible Bubble Blower. It’s in the Preferred Members section on the Lots page. (I also added a picture of it on the Desk Top Wallpaper page in the Free section)

And I made a wild flower house that might make you think I was smokin’ that hooka when I did it (LOL) …. that’s in the Free section.

Two new sets. First are my "huzzies", thanks to Grizzelda’s great mesh. Second is my Rich Tranquility room … colorful, yet warm and cozy. The huzzies are in the Free section and the room is in the Preferred Members Sets section, with all of the objects also available on the individual pages.

Oooops …. I forgot to update this blog again. Here’s a few things I’ve added. The Starburst Party Room and Kids & Comics room are in the Preferred Members section in the Complete Sets section (all objects and meshes are also available on the individual pages). Sleepin’ on Boxes is available in the Free section.

These pool tables require University. The set includes the mesh (football with wood base), as well as four more game recolors and two table recolors.

Ya know how most "starter" homes cost over 19K so yes, a new sim can buy one, but then they have no money to actually do anything? Well, I made this starter home using some of my cheap meshes (seating, tables, bucket sink & toilet, etc.) and it costs less than 15K!! So, new sims can move in and have over $5000 in cash to play with.

For those of you who don’t want to use money cheats, this house gives you a good starting point for a new sim. It includes everything your sim will need (along with extras like a boom box and bookshelf)….and yes, it even includes a phone. Oh, and it requires NO EXPANSION PACKS!

I’ve been messing around with some hippie objects, so I made this statue. The mesh is in the Free section and the recolors are in the Preferred Members section, in the Decorative>Sculptures section.

People keep thanking me for giving them lots that don’t require all the EPs….evidently there are people out there who *say* their lots work with any version of the game but, in reality, this isn’t true. But, I assure you, in my case, I test every lot on three machines…one machine has no EPs, one machine has EVERY EP, and the third machine only has University and Nightlife installed….so I know for sure which lots work with which EPs…

That being said, here’s my latest lot that requires NO expansion packs. It’s in the Free section. My sims are enjoying it (on all three of my machines) and I hope your sims like it too

Well, finally my agreement period on my windows boxes is over with TSR, so I can put them here. I made them a long time ago when I knew less than I know now, but I actually still like them and use them in my game, so maybe you will too.
I also made some recolors of my comfy shirt mesh. I think they came out pretty good.

The window boxes are in the free section and the shirts are in the Preferred Members section on page 5 of the Adult Female section.

I made a burlap set from some of my meshes. It includes the sofa, sectional seating, end table, and coffee table. The set is in the Preferred Members section on page 4 of the Object Sets section, and the individual objects are available on the individual pages. The sofa is also available in the Free section.

I made a new lot on my new computer….on this computer, I’ve installed all of the EPs except OFB…though I love OFB, it makes so many things not compatible with earlier versions of the game that I decided not to install it on my new machine….yet. So, this lot requires University and Nightlife. I also made some new floors. The lot is in the Free section and the floors are in the Preferred Members section (Build Mode > Floors)

I’ve been building a lot lately, so I keep needing new walls and floors. So, I made these rugged wood walls. They look pretty good in my game. They’re in the Preferred Members section on page 2 in the Walls section.

Man…I’ve been so busy I haven’t been keeping this blog up to date, so here’s a bunch of pictures.

I haven’t made anything in the past few days cuz I’ve been waiting for my new killer computer to arrive, so I could do all of this creating stuff there … well, it arrived and it’s definitely a killer … unfortunately, it got a bit jostled in shipment and something shorted out, so I had to send it back. But, the guys who are building it for me assured me I’ll have in back in a few days.

Anyway, I decided to make some stuff on my existing computer just so you won’t think I forgot yas! I made some wild recolors of my globe lamp, and I also made a new non-EP lot – it’s a shack…it’s furnished and under 20k … perfect for your poor or low-life sims. Includes some new floors and walls I also made. The lamp recolors are in the Preferred Members section, on page 3 of the Lighting section. The Shack is in the Free section.

I just can’t get enough of Grizzelda’s and NeptuneSuzy’s great clothing meshes. And they share them so generously. I hope some of you are going to ts2creations.com and making a donation to their cause … they really deserve it!

Anyway, I made these recolors of their meshes for my site … they’re in the Free Section.  As always, thanks to ts2creations’ generosity, the meshes are included in the files.

This is a set I made for TSR about a year ago. My agreement with TSR when I retired there was that I would wait a year to put stuff on my site (though I admit I break that "rule" when I see my stuff showing up on other sites - if TSR isn’t going to stop others from stealing my stuff then they have no right to stop me from putting it on my site). Anyway, this set is recolors of my director’s chair, my lounge chair, and one of Maxis’ tables. It looks good on a beach or by a pool. It’s in the Preferred Members section on page 4 of the Sets section.

These are two more of my meshes from TSR that I’ve seen on other sites without any credit being given to me, so I’m putting them here. The easels are in the Preferred Members section on page 2 of the Miscellaneous section. The indoor/outdoor lights are in the Free section. All recolors included.

I made another beach lot (and again, it requires no expansion packs). It’s in the Free Section. I also made some sand buckets to put on the beach….they are in the Preferred Members section, on page 7 of the Miscellaneous section, and the mesh is in the Modified Meshes section.

Since I’m getting ready for summer here, I’m in the beach mood. So, I made another beach house that requires NO expansion packs. This one sits by a coral reef. It’s in the Free Section.

I also recolored some of my new boxy meshes….the sofa, end table, coffee table, and lamp, plus a recolor of Echo’s rug. They are in the Preferred Members section on the third page of the Sets section (and also available as individual items on the other pages).

Here’s some meshes I made … perfect addition to my Beach lots. Inner tubes! The floating ones will float in ponds….if you want to put them in pools or on the ground, use the moveobjects_on cheat. The other mesh is a stand where tubes are rented … looks good on community beaches. They’re both in the Preferred Members section, on page 4 of the Modified Meshes section.

I made a couple more cheap furniture items for poor sims and uni students. The coffee table is in the Preferred Members section and the lamp is in the Free section.

I finally had some time to play around in Milkshape again, so I made a cheap sofa (only costs $150) that has high comfort and energy levels. I put the mesh in the Free Section and made some recolors for the Preferred Members. I also made a new lot that requires no EPs and I’ll be uploading that tomorrow, for the Free Section. The picture is below these pictures of the new sofa …

If you have medieval lots, you need a dungeon in your basement. This set includes a couple new meshes - a "rack" which is cloned from a sofa, some floor pans with food and water, wall shackles, and a spider web. The rest of the stuff are recolors (my short stool mesh is required for you to see the stool in your game). It’s on page 3 of the Sets section in the Preferred Members section.

Grizz sent me this mesh she made. It’s a curvier teen in a jumpsuit. Ooooo la la! Of course, I had to recolor it. Grizz’s mesh and recolors are available now in the Free section. My recolors will be added tomorrow, so stop by again if you want them.

On occasion I want my sims to sleep outside in picnic areas, etc. or sleep in the fields or in a barn … so I made beds for this. The outdoor bed where they can sleep on a rock is available in the Free section and the hay wagon bed is available in the Preferred Members section.

I know it’s getting harder and harder to find lots to download if you don’t have every single expansion pack. Though, as a lot builder, I appreciate the advantages to building lots with all the new features available in the EPs, I figure there are enough builders out there who are doing that very well. So, I’m gonna concentrate on making lots for people who don’t have every dang EP. Here’s one I just added to my Free section.

For your poor sims or college dorms - this box is an end table and both the box and the cloth can be recolored. The mesh is in the Free Section and I made some recolors of the cloth for the Preferred Members section (Surfaces, page 5).

Poor Suzy … I’ve been bugging her for a long time to make a short hair mesh. Personally, I prefer sims with short hair to sims with long hair. Well, finally she had time to make it and she gave it to me to put on my site….it’s on her page in the free section, along with 6 recolors she made. Enjoy!!

I uninstalled the Sims 2 on my laptop and reinstalled it with no EPs so I can test some of my new stuff in the game, with a clean install. So, I decided to make a lot for those of you who have no EPs. It’s in the Preferred Members section.  Enjoy!

Added some new walls and floors to my Preferred members section

I made the mesh for this a long time ago. It’s basically a box LOL But, the sims can sit on it like an easy chair. I just uploaded four new recolors for it - they’re in the Preferred Members section, on Page 6 in the Seating section.

I just had to make some more recolors of Grizzelda’s mesh cuz I have all of my sims wearing them now LOL

I put them in the free section.

These Sale Signs I made don’t require any expansion pack and they work in both residential and community lots. They look good if you place them over sidewalks or walkways cuz the sims can walk underneath them

I’ve been scrounging around in my old folders and found another lot that doesn’t require any EPs. It’s a community lot - The Beach. It works for everyone, whether you have just the original game, or any of the expansion packs.

Anyway, I added these two recolors of Grizzelda’s mesh to my Adult Female section in the Preferred Members section. Anyone else watch "Absolutely Fabulous"? If you do, you might think these are clothes that Patsy and Eddie might wear LOL

This is too cool. Grizzelda asked me if I’d like her to make me a mesh. And, of course, I said YES!

So, I asked for bigger boobs, a little bit of a tummy, a halter top, capri pants, and spiked heels. And, she nailed it. Her mesh and recolors are available in the free section … Grizzelda Gifts … and just wait and see how I recolor THIS one LOL

Just a quick note to let you know I finally got around to making the OFB versions of my brick barbecue grill and my old stone ice box.  The grill is in the free section and the Preferred Members section with the non-OFB mesh … and the stone ice box is in the Preferred Members section.  Remember to be sure you download the correct version for your game.  When unzipped, their names are the same, so one will overwrite the other….and they share the same  GUID number so you won’t have both in your game.

Well, Grizzelda has made another great mesh and I recolored it. The mesh and recolors are available in my free section. I also made some clothes that resemble what I wear in real life (keyword: comfortable LOL). They’re in the Preferred Members section on page four of the Adult Female Clothing section.

I made this hot dog stand and cooler for TSR a while back and now I see it didn’t work in OFB. So, I fixed that, but the OFB versions don’t work if you don’t have OFB, so I had to include both versions here. Be sure you pick the right ones for your game or they won’t work.

Just added these to the Preferred Members section. The mesh is on page four of the Modified Meshes section and the recolors are on page four of the Miscellaneous section. Black, White, and Green - for grade school and high school or college.

Well, I was playing around in NeptuneSuzy’s great clothing meshing tutorial and thought it was about time I made a new clothing mesh. I haven’t made clothing meshes since way back in the old days when you could only drag parts and couldn’t add parts.

Anyhoooo, I figured everybody is making dresses and full-body meshes, so I decided to make just a top-body mesh and make a shirt similar to the type I live in (LOL). It’s long, to cover bellies and butts, and it’s BIG to cover up those unsightly rolls. The mesh and denim recolor are in the free section…and there are three more recolors in the Preferred Members section.

So many people tell me they can create meshes, but they have problems trying to map the textures so they appear correctly on the mesh, so I finally got around to writing a tutorial for this. I made a simple candy dish to use for the tutorial, so I uploaded that for you to download also. Both the tutorial and the candy dish are in my free section.

Also, Grizzelda made a great tea-length dress with spiked heels, so I just HAD to recolor that in my own tacky way. That’s available in the free section also.

Now, I need to make something new for the Preferred Members or they will think I forgot then!!

I’ve been having a lot of fun with Open for Business. I made this flea market where I can sell all of my whacky objects (even my piggies!) So, after tweaking it quite a bit and making sure it all works, I decided to upload it to my site. It’s on the Lots page in the Preferred Members section. Hope you like it!

I got a request from quirkygerke at ModTheSims2 to make my laundry basket available for free. Evidently he/she downloaded it from TSR when he/she was a member there, but he/she is no longer a member there and had to format his/her hard drive and lost everything (people need to keep a backup of their downloads folder on a CD or something!!). Anyway, I put the laundry basket in the free section, so you all can download it while it’s there. Do it soon though, becuz I may be moving it back to my Preferred Members section soon.

Another cool set if you have Open for Business. Actually, all of the items in it work without any Expansion Packs, but they are just decorative. If you have OFB, you can put a lot of the shopping bags and boxes on shelves or on the checkout counter and set them for sale.

I put this set in the Preferred Members section. The set is on page four of the Sets section and the meshes and recolors are included in it. However, if you just want some of the individual items, the meshes are in the Modified Meshes section and the recolors of the Kids Shopping Cart are in the Miscellaneous section.

Hope you are enjoying OFB as much as I am. I really think it’s the best expansion pack yet!

I made these meshes a long time ago….and they didn’t make as much sense as they do now! With Open for Business, you can buy a styling chair for your sims to do makeovers, but that’s the only beauty parlor item Maxis gave us. So, my hair dryer chair, magazine shelf, and makeup mirrors go really well in any home or business where you want a full beauty parlor. Also, the wigs I made for my eairlier beauty parlor was simply decorative…and if you don’t have OFB, they will still work as decorative items….BUT, with this new expansion pack, you can make them available for sale….so, with my beauty parlor, Sims can come to your place, get a makeover and buy themselves a wig! All of these items will work without any expansion pack, but with OFB they are way coooooool!!

I decided it was time to do some clothing, since I seem to spend all of my time on objects and lots lately. So, I recolored one of Maxis’ old nighties (no mesh and no expansion pack required). I did it in 10 colors - the black one is available on the free site and the other nine are in the Preferred Members section.

And, I got a message from someone who said that TSR is offering all of my beach signs in their free rotation now, but they are NOT offering the mesh (that’s their way of getting people to pay … I think it’s backwards. I always offer the mesh for free and put the recolors in the paid section.) So, I put the mesh for the signs in my free section. If you go to TSR and download my beach signs, you can come here and get the mesh.

Trainlady sent me a PM at TSR telling me she had to reinstall her game and lost this file, which she got for free from TSR, but now TSR has made it a paid item. So, she asked me if I could give it to her. So, I put it in my free section. It’s a loveseat that pulls all colors from the Club Distress loveseat in the game. But, it’s based on the ebay mentality. When you buy it, it’s VERY cheap…but keep it until after midnite (Sims time) and sell it for a nice profit

I was talking to my pal, NeptuneSuzy, and told her I was looking for ideas for something that hasn’t already been done a gazillion times and she commented that she would like to see an alarm clock that doesn’t look like an alarm clock. So, I started thinking of things that might end up on someone’s bedside table and I thought of that morning coffee cup that I always have in my bedroom while I’m getting ready for work.

So, this coffee mug on a saucer is really an alarm clock and it will ring and wake up your Sims, but if you don’t turn it on, it just looks like a coffee cup, so you can decide how to use it. Enjoy!

I was working on one of my artist’s lots in the game and I needed some modern art, so I made a bunch of them. The single one is in the free section and the rest are in the Preferred Members section. I also made a desk lamp …. it’s a new mesh, but all six colors are included in the mesh, so it’s just one file. It’s on page 4 of the Modified Meshes section in the Preferred Members section. And, I also uploaded a community lot I had from a long time ago (so it doesn’t require any expansion packs). It’s a movie theater

I decided to recolor some Maxis’ clothes, for those who don’t like to download meshes. So, I made three sets of sweaters and knee socks for adult females. They’re in the free section.

It happened again (grrrrr). Someone emailed me and told me my kitchen canisters that I made for TSR are showing up on a couple sites, so I added them to my Preferred Members section:

NeptuneSuzy sent me another great starter home for you all to download. Fully furnished one-bedroom home for less than 20K. It’s on her page in my free section.

Also, another one of the meshes I made for TSR has been popping up on other sites with no mention of me as the creator, so that’s my go-ahead to put it on my site. I sure wish TSR would do more to protect it’s Featured Artists’ creations, but since they don’t seem to care who puts it on any site, I can’t see how they could object to ME putting it on my own site! Anyway, I put the mesh in the free section and the recolors in the Preferred Members section (in Decorative>Wall Hangings). Enjoy!!

This is the house for you if you have a large Sim family. It includes a lot of bedrooms. It’s unfurnished, but completely decorated. No custom content or hacked objects. I made it before I had Nightlife installed, but because I installed it in my game after Nightlife was installed, it will require Nightlife to be installed in your game (and, obviously, University also). It’s on the Lots page in my Preferred Members section.

I just uploaded a set of clothes for elder males. They’re in the free section. They are so neglected by clothing designers

I started this mesh a looooong time ago and could never get it to work (it kept exploding when Sims used it LOL). But, now that I know more, it’s working just fine…so I uploaded it tonite.
It’s in the Preferred Members section, on page 2 of the Modified Meshes section. I’ll make some recolors as soon as I have time. This works with all Maxis’ bedding and your bedding recolors, and it has a room score of 9 and an energy score of 9. It’s 3370 polygons, which is fairly low for a bed with any details.

Two new uploads. A triplex apartment lot (requires both EPs … sorry…blame Maxis LOL). It’s in the free section. And, in the Preferred Members section, I put some recolors of my olde icebox mesh (the one included in my Old Stone Kitchen set). The ice boxes are working fridges and they are on page 3 in the Appliances section. The mesh is on page 3 in the Modified Meshes section

I finally got around to recoloring NeptuneSuzy’s great Gram minidress mesh (which includes Al’s fantastic shoes), which she made after I nagged her, becuz I think she’s such a good clothing mesher. The zip file includes my two recolors and Suzy’s mesh. Also, another set of mine, from my TSR days is showing up on sites which are not giving me or TSR credit, so I added it here … these are recolors of Echo’s rug mesh and don’t require any expansion packs. Yes, they are rugs, but they look like stone mosaic tiles and really look great in outside gardens or courtyards. The Gram mini dresses are in the free section and the mosaic tiles are in the rug section in the Preferred Members area.

This is a community lot I made a looooong time ago, so it doesn’t require any expansion packs. I keep finding these stored in all kinds of places on my computer and backup drives LOL.

Well, as much as I like the hgtv red bunk beds, I figured we all might want them in different colors for other rooms, so I made four new varieties: black, white, old worn wood, and a light wood. Each variety comes in three styles: one with both rails, one with the left rail only, and one with the right rail only. All twelve recolors are in the Beds section in the Preferred Members section. Hope you like ‘em!

I also made a Candy Stripe Café for Preferred Members. Meshes and recolors included. It’s in the Sets section, but all the individual files are also available separately in the individual sections. The booths obviously require Nightlife, and, because of the way bookcases work in the game, the magazine shelf requires University.

Sorry. I’ve been really busy and haven’t updated this blog in a few days. Anyway, I uploaded a fur bedroom set (bedding, curtain, and rug). It’s in the free section. I also uploaded a pretty cool house to the Preferred Members section. I use it a lot in my own game, so I figured maybe some of you would like it too.

But, the best thing I’ve uploaded lately was my HGTV Dream Home bunk beds. A TSR member (cablebabe) sent me an email, telling me she was recreating the Dream Home at hgtv.com but she needed the bunk bed, so I made it for her. She said she already had a ladder so she didn’t want that included. Anyway, the one I made uses all the bedding colors you have in your game, and it uses them on both the top and bottom bunk, but the sims can only sleep on the bottom bunk. I made it the same color as the one shown on the hgtv site, but I will make more recolors when I get a chance. It’s in the free section.

Well, I made a cool discovery. Now fireplaces can be cloned without altering any game files!! The mesh is in the free section and the recolors are in the Preferred Members section in Appliances.

I made some recolors of my bucket food processor for the Preferred Members section and I also have been working on some fireplace technology for the free section, but it’s being tested at ModTheSims2 before I put it at my site (I think it’s ok, but I want to be sure before I offer it to you.) So, becuz I don’t have anything new for the free site yet, I made some fun desktop wallpapers. The hot tub one is currently on my own desktop and I’m enjoying it LOL

I uploaded another one of my houses that I really like. It includes a gazebo, with a hot tob…and a climbable hillside which is a great location for telescopes. I put a little furniture in it, so you could tell which room is which, but other than that, it’s empty so you can fill it with your favorite stuff. No hacks or custom content.
Then, I made some alternative cooking stuff. These are for sims who are too poor to buy stoves and food processors (or for sims who live in a time before electricity was invented LOL). The hibachi works just like a toaster oven and the mixing bucket works like a food processor - the sims put food in it, then when they pour it into the bowl, the lid opens. Looks pretty good in the game, I think.

I seem to be on a "lot roll" lately. I had an old neighborhood in the game that I decided to wipe and start over. So, I removed all the families from the houses, then deleted the houses I didn’t really like. Before I moved anyone back into the houses I did like, I packaged them all. So, I have a bunch to upload, so you’ll be seeing a lot of them on my site in the near future. Since I have both University and Nightlife installed, all of these lots, even if they were made before I had the expansions packs, will require that you have both expansion packs installed in order to be able to use them (not my fault … blame that on Maxis’ bad programming). Anyway, since they will require the EPs, I figured I should go ahead and add garages, etc., to them (if there was room on the lot … sometimes there just isn’t and I really don’t want to have to rebuild the entire lot just to add a garage.)

Anyway….here’s the first one. It’s a Southwestern Adobe home. It’s a really good family home… has a few bedrooms and set up well for kids. It’s also a great party house …. nice big rooms and a large outdoor deck for parties. Hope you like it. I use it a lot in my own game, cuz I’m partial to the southwest look and I prefer one or two story homes so my sims don’t spend all their time climbing stairs.

These window shutters fit all single windows. I made a bunch (12) of recolors for them too. The mesh file includes the shutters for both straight and diagonal walls and the mesh has knob handles. But, inside the zipped file for the mesh is an invisible knob recolor if you’d prefer not to have the knobs, along with knob recolors in black, white, and gold. These go on the outside of the window, so you can still have curtains on the inside. They even work with my air conditioners The mesh is on page 3 of the Modified Meshes section and the shutters are in Decorative>Curtains.

Another mesh of mine that’s popping up on other sites without my permission….so I’m offering it for free at my site now. There are also 6 recolors in the Preferred Members section. It works great over beds, as a reading light, and also fits nicely above a computer on a desk, and the black recolor looks great as a range hood over a stove.

Well, I made a bunch of stuff late last nite. (I needed a break from work, so I went kinda nuts LOL).
Anyway, first I uploaded one of my older lots that doesn’t require any Expansion Pack. I made it before I had any EPs so it works in all versions. Unfortunately, when I packaged it a long time ago, I included the family in it….now, I can’t remove the family because if I open it in my game to remove them, the lot will then require both University and Nightlife (what a drag, Maxis…why can’t you fix this?). Anyway, I named it Cool Pad. Hope you like it.
Then I decided to make a lot for my Preferred Members, so I made some cedar floors and walls and did the whole dang place in cedar….so I put the lot in my Preferred Members section (on the Lots page) and then I zipped up the cedar floors and walls and put them in the free section.
Last of all, I was visiting a very popular site and saw some stairs I had made a long time ago for TSR’s Future World Theme. Well, I promised TSR that I wouldn’t put the stuff I made for them on my site…but when I see it on someone else’s site and they are taking credit for making it, I figure all promises are null and void. So, I added the stairs to my Preferred Members site…they are in the Build Mode section.

I liked that brick barbecue grill I made so much that I decided to do it in old stone, then that inspired me to make an entire kitchen out of old stone. So, I recolored my bucket sink in old stone and old wood, then I made a new mesh - an old ice box in stone and wood (it’s a working fridge). Then I recolored NeptuneSuzy’s sturdy table and chair set and one of Maxis’ counters and made a brown fur rug. Oh, and I also recolored Maxis’ wall candles in old worn wood. I put the recolors of NeptuneSuzy’s table and chair in the free section and the rest of the stuff is in the Preferred Members section (the ice box is on the Modified Meshes page and the rest of the stuff is in the appropriate categories.. and the whole set is available in the Sets section.)
Quite a job, but I’m pretty happy with it all. Hope you like it too.

I recolored a mesh from NeptuneSuzy’s site (ts2creations.com). She’s good at body meshing, so I’m very grateful to her for sharing this mesh. My recolors (and her mesh) are in the free section. Then, I also made some flashy jumpsuits for men (wooooot!). I put them in the Preferred Members section.

I don’t know about you, but I hate it when my sims eat outdoors and keep running inside to use the trash compactor, even if I put a trash can outside. So, I made a trash can that’s based on the trash compactor so they would use it! I made it a while ago, for TSR, before I knew how to assign animation to parts and also, before I knew much about texturing, so it wasn’t really that good. Well, today I fixed it. Now, when the Sims use it, they slide it out from under the counter and it looks pretty realistic. I put the mesh in my free section and the recolors in the Preferred Members section. If you had my old ones from TSR, download these and they will just overwrite the old ones. I’m pretty happy with them.

I forgot to post here when I uploaded these last nite. Sorry bout that. This is a new brick barbecue grill I made yesterday. I like it. I actually like it best when I put it in a kitchen. I’m planning to recolor it in various stone textures when I get a chance, and maybe even make some more stone kitchen stuff to go with it. But, for now, the grill mesh is in the free section of my site and I combined it with some other meshes (cooler, picnic table, picnic bench, and outdoor fire alarm) to make an outdoor barbecue set, which I put in the Preferred Members section. Hope you like them!

These are recolors of my Patio Table and Director’s Chair meshes that I just uploaded to the Preferred Members section. The meshes are on page 3 of the Modified Meshes section, the tables are on page 5 of the Surfaces section, the chairs are on page 5 of the Seating section, and the complete sets are on page 3 of the Complete Sets section.

One of the things that really bugs me about The Sims 2 is the fact that if you create a lot with an Expansion Pack installed, no one else can use that lot if they don’t have the EP. I don’t know WHY Maxis did this!! So, I have some old lots that have been in the Preferred Members section for a long time, that I made before I had any expansion packs, so they will work for everyone….so I figured I’d share them in the free section of my site, so people who are new to the Sims 2 and only have the original game installed can have some lots to download. Of course, if you DO have the expansion packs, you can still download these and use them.

Anyway, here’s the first one….I’ll upload more at another time. Enjoy!

This is one of the first clothing meshes I ever made and the knees never worked right. Well, I figured out how to fix that FINALLY, so they work fine now. If you have the old mesh, just download this one and it will replace that. I also included a Christmas Dress with this one. The old recolors for the other one will still work with this one too. It’s in both the free section and the Preferred Members section.

Thanks to the great Numenor and Dincer for collaborating to figure out how to add the mourn animation to an object. Of course, I just had to get tacky and turn it into a white trash thing (LOL).

Well, these are essential if your sims are smokers (hack hack). The smoke is animated. I made some recolors so the cigs also have brown filters and the pack is also green for menthol; and, of course I made some different ashtray colors too. The cig name is changed to Simboro, so RJ Reynolds can’t sue me LOL
They’re in the Preferred Members section. The mesh is on page 3 of the Modified Meshes and the recolors are on page 7 of the Miscellaneous section. Find them in your game, in Decorative>Miscellaneous.

Here’s my latest:
This chair will show in your Easy Chair section, but Sims can also use it at dining tables, chess tables, and desks. It’s in my free section now.

I also made some recolors of this chair and recolored my Versatile table to match the chairs. The table includes a side piece and a center piece so you can put them together to make tables any size you want. The tables and the chair recolors are in the Preferred Members section.

Just added this to my Preferred Members section. It’s basically the same one I had at TSR, but since I’m seeing it on so many other sites, without my permission, I decided I should put it here.
The mesh is on page 3 of the Modified Meshes section. The recolors are in Decorative>Curtains. It will use all of your Stewart Mourning recolors, so you can use those curtains in the same room, so they match. It does not work on diagonal walls.

For those of you who downloaded my stuff when I was a Featured Artist at TSR, here’s a remake of my Alternative Chess Table. The original one had disappearing parts when it animated, so I’ve fixed that. If you download this one, it will replace the original. It’s in my free section. Also, in the Preferred Members section, I put a lot of recolors of it in the Miscellaneous section and I added a few recolors of the short stool that goes with it, in the Preferred Members seating section.

It’s a magic carpet that works like a car, along with some floating lights I made a while ago and never uploaded. The two meshes are in the free section and there’s one recolor of the carpet (on page 6 of the Miscellaneous section) and three recolors of the lights (in the lighting section) in the Preferred Members section.

Obviously this is only for people who are as wacky as me LOL

Here’s some new garden fencing I just uploaded to my free site. Find it in Build Mode with the rest of your fences. Click and drag to install it. It’s low stone fencing with planters on top …. and good news: you don’t have to water the flowers

I finally got around to uploading some eye colors. I’ve been using these in my game for eons and kept forgetting to share them. They are on the Eye Colors page in the Preferred Members section.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I don’t think I’ll be adding anything to my site again until the weekend. Got lotsa real life stuff to do!!

I was making a party room in one of my wilder houses and needed some really colorful walls and floors. If you like color like I do, these might interest you. I just uploaded them to the Preferred Members section, on the last pages of both the Floors and Walls sections.

I just had to recolor NeptuneSuzy’s beautiful Sims 2 gown mesh. I put this one in the free section. I have a couple more that I made and those will go into the Preferred Members section later this week.

This is my latest set that I just uploaded to the Preferred Members section of my site. It includes the pool walls and ladder, the suit of armor, the candle fencepost lights, and the stone wall and floor. It makes a great pool or moat, that fits in with your medieval homes. For those of you who don’t know NeptuneSuzy, well, she’s one of the more talented Sims 2 creators in this community. And, lucky for me, she’s agreed to put some of her stuff on my site. She’s best known for her beautiful medieval clothes and hairs, but she’s also quite good at building lots and creating objects.

Here’s two starter lots she made for my site. Both are fully furnished and cost less than $20K.
